This league is a unique opportunity for individuals ages 5-21 who have developmental disabilities to participate in Little League Baseball. Challenger League pairs participants with student athlete volunteers. The goal is to give everyone a chance to play, so there are only two basic rules: every participant bats each inning and everyone plays the field. Volunteers support the participants by encouraging and helping them in the field and when batting. Volunteers are also there to provide social engagement and to help with focus.

The Mill Valley Red Sox may travel to San Francisco, San Rafael, and Novato to play other Challenger teams. Home games are played at Boyle Park in Mill Valley. Games usually last 1-2 hours and we play 2 innings. The Challenger League participates in the opening day parade for the entire Mill Valley Little League and opening pitch which takes place in March.
